Brow Power Super Skinny

Love this!

I have been using IT Cosmetics Brow Power Super Skinny for a few years. The Universal Warm Blonde is a perfect color for me because it isn't as dark as the Universal Blonde shade, but sadly the Warm Blonde has been discontinued. At 75 years of age, with sparse brows and light hair, darker brow shades look ridiculous on me. The super skinny brow pencil works exceptionally well at giving my brows a more natural look, rather than causing me to look like I was ready for Halloween!

Love it but...

I love the way this pencil performs. I'm not great at doing brows and this makes it so easy. However, I read the Q&A and they said the dark brown would work for black eyebrows. Eh, I don't think so. It doesn't look too bad where I'm just filling in but if you have to draw any part of your brow on, it doesn't look right. You have brown next to black.

My eyebrows are too short towards the nose so I draw in a little bit to lengthen them but it looked stupid because it didn't match. I tried applying more pressure (broke a piece applying too much pressure) to make it darker but you only get dark brown. I'm bummed because I love the product but I won't buy it again until they come out with a universal black.

Perfect color and texture.

My second time buying this. Love it finished off with a little medium brown brow powder. Has great staying power. Color great for my fair complexion with medium auburn hair, 6R.

Natural Lookin' Brows

Very nice product, the slimness of the pencil makes it very easy to control and create natural looking brows. The formula is quite hard but not crumbly. The only negative is when I twisted the pencil all the way up, there was not much product AT ALL. Like, shorter than a pinky's worth. It's a very good pencil and I do recommend it, but at this price I would expect a little more product.

Probably a duplicate review. I LOVE this for very fine lines, but if this is the only pencil you use, it won't last you very long and you're on your way to the poor house. Not much product here.

Great pencil for blondes

Most pencils say they are for blondes but usually have a red tinge or are too brown. This pencil is just perfect for natural brows. A definite repurchase.

As good as it gets

Best ever eyebrow pencil--although I wish I knew why "universal" in this skinny version translates to several colors. Beautylish rep told me that "universal taupe" was closest to "universal universal" in the fatty version.

One comment: I use this to supplement the fatty version. If I were to use only the skinny version, it would last me two weeks top. So I've taken off one star because value is an issue here.

broken out of the box

I wanted to love this as I had seen Karima McKimmie rave about it and it reminded me my one true brow love - a Revlon product from 10 years ago that had inserts like a mechanical pencil lead the size of this one into a black and gold metal "pencil." Best drugstore product of all time until they discontinued it. I've tried them all - abh, kevin acouin, you name it. But none allow that precise but natural individual hair look.

The formula of this seems good and long lasting the one time I used it, but a good 5 mm was broken out the box and I couldn't justify fussing with reinserting it to have it fall out every time I took the cap off. Thankfully the great service allows a return.

Gonna give it another go. Fingers crossed.
