Beauty Product Reviews

A fantastic multi-use pigment!

Sugarpill's loose eye shadow are highly pigmented, rich colors that result in beautiful application regardless of the technique. Applied dry and with an eye shadow brush, the colors blend wonderfully and richly. Applied wet, by adding a few drops of saline solution to a bit of product, I use it for my costume looks, like the photo attached. The makeup lasts all day and looks beautiful until I wash it off!

Worth double the price

Sugarpill eyeshadows are as bright in the palette as they are on your skin. I've powdered my brows pink for years and the only color I've used is Dollipop. People consistently ask if I dye my brows, and from there I launch into my speech about "Join the Sugarpill Cult!"

False lashes not needed with this mascara

I love my eye shape (small, almond Asian eyes) but I do NOT love my short, straight lashes. Whatever magic Benefit puts in their BADgal mascara is worth the (relatively) higher price point, because my non-lashes go from "wha?" to "wow!" in just a few coats. While the formula does dry out faster than drugstore brands, the ingredients therein are fantastic for extending and thickening short lashes like mine.

My go-to blush for 7+ years!

I have an odd skin color: olive toned, but also fairly light. Blush made for lighter skin tends to look too red on me, whereas blush for olive tones have looked brown on me. Enter stage left: Benefit Georgia blush! This blush is the warm nude I've been looking for for AGES and having found it several years ago I've been in love since. It compliments by tones whether I'm wearing poppy red lipstick or neon blue eye shadow. It's truthfully been a staple for me for over 7 years.
