I did the base of the design in gel polish using 3 different colors. I painted the whole nail pink and then added spots of blue and green. once I cured the gel polish I painted the design over top with black. its easier to paint a design over gel polish because you can clean up the lines a little bit without ruining the polish underneath. After that just top coat :)

Gorgeous design! I have a few questions if you don't mind? How would tell a nail salon to do your nails so claw-like? I've tried annnnnd they just don't seem to get it. Any tips or advice? - thanks!

Thank you!! honestly I've had that same problem in the past. I do my own acrylics or gels now but even doing them myself it took practice to get that shape down. In my area I know pointy nails are still not all that popular. So maybe salons don't get many requests to do them and thats y the outcome is so bad. Because they don't have much practice.?.?.? Lol I don't know I've had horrible stilettos done in a salon. I think it might help the tech if you took in a picture of the shape you like so you can compare. Like "can you make them come to a shorter point like this? A little sharper like these?"it would help them to know exactly what youre looking for. Or if you know or see anyone around your town that has a shape you really like ask them where they go. That way you know youre paying someone who can give you the look you want. I hope that helped some :)
