hello, I see that you had fairly dark hair before red, Did you have to bleach it or did you use a special dye? I have wanted my hair really red for awhile but I do not want to bleach it.

Hi! I had black hair for 7 years & it was rough getting rid of it. I had used the wrong products, but no matter what in order to get the color red to stick to your hair you would have to strip your hair of any color unless it is virgin hair & has never been dyed.. I used Loreal Color Zapper you can buy it at sally's beauty supply! :) & I would suggest using ION's hair dye it works really well! :)
