Highlight and Contouring my Round Face

192

This is how I like to Highlight and Contour when doing a makeup tutorial. Before I started my H & C, I added one thin layer of foundation and applied a color corrector to my under eye area (dark circles)

Highlight: I slightly melted my highlight color and applied it to the areas that you see. I took my ring finger and patted the color into my skin. Then I took the beauty blender and blended the edges.

Contour: I took my contour colors and applied it the following areas and blended it in with my beauty blender Despite the pic, my nose is really small so I had to use my fingers to blend.

Once I was done with the blending, I took my stippling brush with my left over foundation and went over everything. Lastly I set my highlight with ben nye banana powder and my contour (not nose) with mac blush in blunt.

Okay. Yea I used a cream to start off but as I blended it in it was extremely subtle so I set it with a powder.

For the dark color is it a powder or concealer or what?

Ummm okay. If you see the picture of the products above your comment, you will see it's a cream in a lipstick form. I set it with a powder.

Thank You!! It takes practice and patience. Also know your face shape. I have a mix of a round and oval face. It also depends on how dramatic you want it to be. I personally don't like noticeable highlighting and contouring. I only use a concealer two shades lighter than my skin. The color I use on my nose is usually what I put on my whole face. For the pic I used a darker color.

You are so beautiful!!

Please do! I blended each part with my beauty blender. My nose I blended with my fingers. Pictures make my nose look really big and it's actually really small.

What contour and highlight brand did you use for this? I like this very much, your skin glows...

Thank you so much! For my highlight color, I used Mac studio finish concealer. My contour I used Black Opal (nose) and Black Radiance (cheeks and jaw).
