it is a paint by numbers!! (nearly)
I basically felt my way around to see where my bones are, and sketched on top, and got the lay of the land, so to speak.
After that it was a case of filling in, perfecting and cleaning up.

Looks amazingly perfect to me. would love to have a go at this sort of makeup but not brave enough. it would have to be a paint by numbers first lol.

It doesnt look like it in this photograph, but im quite an obsesive compulsive about tidy sharp lines and neatness... a good finish all round; i swear this is all sharp lines and perfectly blended, its just the camera i guess :S
