What are some tips, I tried this and, yeah, it doesn't look like any galaxy!! LOL

Well, I'm no expert but I use a make up sponge and I dampen it first, but only so it's barely wet. Then build the colour using just a TINY amount on the sponge. Also, I found looking at pictures of Galaxies for reference helpful, rather than look at other peoples nail work because I wasn't worrying that it didn't look like other peoples too much.

As for colours, I started with a black base then electric blue, white, mint green, a shimmery pink and a dab of gold where I wanted the 'nebula' concentrated before I put on the white dots for stars.

I hope at least a little of that made sense and you found it helpful. :)
