Too dark

The formula is nice but it’s much too dark for my fair skin. It’s darker than my under eye skin. I miss the old formula and porcelain shade!

Shades are way off

I can’t wear this on its own because the lightest shade 1N is waaaaaaay too dark. It works for my dry, fair neutral/olive leaning skin when I mix it with an equal amount of the Origins green primer. That combo is beautiful. On its own, the foundation was too dark and oxidized so I looked orange by the end of the day. I liked the glow but the formula is quite thick. It blends and wears better mixed with the primer. Everyone I know who’s tried it experienced the same disappointment with the shades, both in depth and undertones. It’s a bizarre thing to happen with Charlotte’s fourth foundation.

Gorgeous shimmer

These Jewel Pots are both lovely, although the colors are quite similar. The Walk of No Shame is slightly more coppery. They apply like a dream with your finger and you can apply multiple layers without any clumpiness. It wears like a dream and stays put. There can be a tiny bit of fall out during the application process but it's easy to clean up with a q-tip. They are more sparkly than the Eyes to Mesmerize and creamier than the pop shades in Charlotte's eye palettes. I'm glad I picked them up and if you love shimmery, glittery goodness, you won't regret it either.

The best color match ever

This foundation is my dream come true. It's a perfect color match for my very fair, neutral skin: I didn't need to blend it with a white base or primer and it did not oxidize at all. It is a very liquidy formula and the dropper applicator is great. I use 5 or 6 drops to cover my face for the perfect light coverage. It melts into my skin and leaves a natural, skin-life finish. It wears beautifully and naturally over time. I am surprised that the foundation is called "hydra" because it is not moisturizing or dewy at all on my dry skin. It dries down to a satin matte finish and sets completely so I don't need to powder. I do have to use a very hydrating primer underneath to avoid the foundation clinging to dry patches, but this is an easy trade off for such a perfect foundation match. I like the By Terry Hydra Primer.

Nice pencil but it's not red

I opted for Zinnia ("rich berry with fuchsia and red tones") and Cinnamon ("rich brick red"). I will admit that I was not sure about the products when I opened the package; Cinnamon is quite brown and Zinnia appears brown in the tube as well. But to my surprise and delight, Zinnia is a beautiful, dark berry that is so comfortable to wear! (See my review for more info.) This pencil applies very nicely and I was able to make clean lines without any tugging or pulling. It wears well and is a nice base for the lipstick. But it's not red at all on my lips; it was closer to brown but appears more berry with Zinnia. I'm looking forward to trying additional colors as they are restocked.

Pretty but color is not as described

I opted for Zinnia ("rich berry with fuchsia and red tones") and Cinnamon ("rich brick red"). I will admit that I was not sure about the products when I opened the package; Cinnamon is quite brown and Zinnia appears brown in the tube as well. But to my surprise and delight, Zinnia is a beautiful, dark berry that is so comfortable to wear! It is a bit messy as a cream (teeth checks required) but the color is so lovely that I can’t complain too much. I'm happy to break away from matte and this lipstick doesn't dry out your lips at all, although I did have to reapply often as I was drinking water (at home!). As you can see, the color is much more of a browny-berry than anything close to red or fuchsia and it does not look anything like the pictures. That said, everyone's lips are different and your natural pigment will cause variations in color. I'm happy to support Wayne and can't wait to try other colors as they are restocked.

Cap doesn’t stay on

I love the doe foot applicator version of this lip balm and the pencil version seemed like a great alternative. But the top doesn’t stay on, which made a mess in my makeup bag and my handbags. I ended up throwing it away.

My skin loves this product

I’ve used this La Mer sunscreen on and off for years. It’s the best there is. I wish it weren’t because the price is painful.

Put simply, I have dry/combination skin that loves this lotion. It moisturizes and gives my skin a glow without making my t-zone oily. It’s perfect under makeup, and I love it with the La Mer Renewal Oil underneath (another product my skin loves but my wallet does not). I use two pumps as the final step in skincare before applying light foundation. My skin is hydrated and my makeup stays fresh all day. It’s just the best.

Note, however, that there is a pronounced fragrance. It’s low on the ingredient list but it’s a signature of La Mer. It does fade over time and I find that it masks the typical sunscreen scent. But if you’re someone that dislikes fragrance in skincare, you probably won’t enjoy this. If you’re agnostic, and can purchase responsibility, I absolutely recommend. It’s expensive but worth it.

Doesn’t remove makeup

I was excited to try this cleansing balm but it was a big miss for me. The texture is more like a cream cleanser than a balm. I used the entire sample sized jar and it still didn’t remove my non waterproof mascara. I had to use two together cleansers to remove it and my makeup. Pixi’s double cleanser is much better but I’ll stick to my oil cleanses for a first step. Thank you Beautylish for the great return policy.

Best Mascara hands down

I adore this mascara. It grabs each lash and separates, defines, plumps, and curls. I use it on its own or as a base before a more volumizing mascara. It's perfect for every day and your lashes look lush but still natural. I have the Terrybleu shade as well, which is a navy blue. SO SAD that Terryfic Bleu was canceled - this was my favorite shade and I have never received more compliments about another makeup product. Dear Terry, please bring it back!
