2 Grab a section of hair on the side of your head and push it upwards from underneath.
3 Use a bobby pin to secure the section flat against your head.
4 Working towards the nape of your neck, keep smoothing your hair up and pinning it into place.
5 Secure the bobby pins so that they connect in a chain. Repeat on the other side of your head.
6 Pin down any longer strands that fall out.
