Smooth Sailing is the ONLY blue nail polish worth having..

while I am no pro at nail polish, when there is a unique shade that jumps out as much as this one, I must wear it.. that being said, after I applied this [I am no pro, I actually quite suck at putting nail polish on, but it STILL looked great.. now THATS a sign of a quality polish] my BOYFRIEND, that's right, a MAN, MALE SPECIMEN, WITH A Y CHROMOSOME, noticed how nice the shade was. I COULD SHAVE MY HEAD AND HE WOULDN'T NOTICE.

i no longer need any other blue polish. I dislike dark navies, I hate bright pastel blues, and neon shades just never work as well on the nails as they seem to in the bottle. This is the perfect shade, with the perfect amount of shimmer.. not too in your face with the glitter, its actually very hard to make out that they are individual particles unless you really study your nails. In addition, its such a unique tone.. its very difficult to describe, but you can clearly see it in the lovely Linda's review directly below this.. I won't take a picture of my nails, because my nail-painting skills will not show this for what it truly is-remarkable.

Smooth Sailing is by far my new favourite nail polish.! If you haven't already got it, I suggest you snatch it before its too late!

Lush Light Bronze

this is a very pretty warm colour. it leans slightly more orange/brown than the Gold Go Lightly but in a good, warm way.. not like Snooki, Oompa Loompa orange, just warmer.. i am very fair skinned and it still didnt look orange on me, but gold go lightly was barely visible! this is a very pretty shade, and formula of the careblend powder is lovely on the skin. it is very gentle, and i quite like the summery depth that it gives my skin, but its not a HG for me.. if i didnt have my regular Golden bronzer, i think this would be my HG, but its definitely up there =]

overall a good product

i bought this because it was higher than spf 15 which most lip products have, if any at all. they are all very sheer, but that is what i like about them.. just the right amount of colour for my already pigmented lips [i like the natural hue of my lips!]

the only thing i would warn people of is that the formula is VERY VERY thick and sticky and just generally strange. ive never had anything like it. like when you press your lips together and spread lip product around like usual, your lips hardly even budge, lol, they just stick together!! so only buy it if you never plan on pressing your lips together! all in all i quite like it though, especially for the spf 20 =] but i would say if you already have a lip product with spf in it, save your cash for something else =]

very awesome

when they say crushed metal, they mean crushed metal..

they all kinda chunk together, similar to the solar bits for those of you who remenber those, but even chunkier! gold especially clumps together, but the colour payoff of them all is just fantastic.. when used dry, they look like they're being used wet.. the silver looks like pretty tinfoil, and the seafoam shade is super gorgeous. it was 40 CDN which is a bit pricey but when you think about how long these, like pigments, last, and the fact that you'd easily pay 20 each for the individually, its a much better deal. another noteworthy bit [at least to me anyway] is that they come in those little clear round mac jars that they sell, which surprised me because i thought it seemed like they were skimping out, especially since i already own a package of those jars! but its not a big deal, especially considering that the product is terrific. if you were to get just one item from this collection, i would make it this =]

great product.. if you can get your hands on it!

after some searching i finally snatched this.. it IS very pretty.. the coral is perfect, will warm up cooler skin tones and give a healthy glow to warmer skin.. but if you get it, make sure you like the colour underneath.. as beautiful as it is when blended with the gold overlay, the gold WILL disappear, so use it sparingly! that would be y only complaint.. but its so pretty just to have =]

Too Faced never disappoints..

at least not yet!

This product lives up to its claims. Thats about all there is to it. It really holds onto the glitter. I wore it for a long night of partying this weekend and several times prior. It hasnt failed me!! Wonderful stuff, highly recommended!

well worth the wait

i waited almost a year for this palette, and finally got my hands on the newer version of it, where they have included a brush rather than the previous two pencils.. well since i love the 24/7 glide on pencils, i wasnt sure if id prefer the brush, and i was concerned that it wouldnt pack on the colour as well as other brushes since its made of synthetic materials, and quality synthetic brushes are hard to find, but it works surprisingly well.

Besides the new brush, every shade is wearable, and i love that even though it is a neutral palette, you can still create dramatic looks with it, like a classic smoky eye or super sparked lids! I have NEVER been so impressed with a palette. I really feel like I should have bought 2 while i had the chance since they are so sparse here.

The only semi-negative thing i have to add is that there arent very many colour choices for a highlight - 2 plausible ones, but both every bit as workable as the others. For me, only 1 works as a true highlight for my very fair skin, that shade being Virgin, a true shimmery whiteish pink hue and the other darker shade that may be used for light/medium to dark skin being Sin, which is a more shimmering pinkish peach. But this really truly isnt an issue, because really how many highlight shades would I need? if i need a darker one i move onto sin, otherwise virgin works very well!

you can truly create endless looks with this palette and as i said, i have NEVER been so impressed and happy with a pricier purchase. well worth the money as well if you take into account the regular prices of their e/s, how much youre getting per shade, half a bottle of UDPP and the brush, which is of much higher quality than i expected.. congrats Urban Decay on a palette well created!

decent

but i must admit, i think i prefer both smashbox and too faced

i have both eden and greed. i think eden is better at holding the colour and not creasing so for me that gets a higher rating than greed. eden is comparable with the other primers i like.

greed is beautiful. i love gold e/s so i was ecstatic when i got it, and loved that it could be used as a sheer wash on its own, but i find it just cant hold up to the other primers as well. its still great and is a great base, better than mac PP id say, but not as good as eden, i assume because it has the shimmer. i still love it for any of my gold looks, it is definitely a great primer, just maybe i read into the hype and had unrealistic expectations. all in all it achieves what i need for the most part, just greed isnt as long lasting as eden, i find. =]

takes some getting used to..

i have never tried lip tars, but i assume they are like these.. i bought the orange and red lip mixes after talking to a mac MUA and seeing the picture of them being used to create this beautiful, unique crimsonish colour at a fashion show.. i must admit, they are a bit hard to work with, i am still learning, but you cant beat the colour payoff.. they are super pigmented, very much like a lipstick but in a gloss.. you can even blot them and they are very stain like.. they are a bit inaccessible though, as they are a pro product.. but work the money.. the only complaint i have is that they are a bit liquidy upon first use though.. think of how you squirt out a lot of red water out of the ketchup bottle before you acually get to the ketchup!

great pencil

i have used both stud and lingering, and find myself to be right between them both. i like this because its self sharpening and always has the perfect point-neither too sharp nor too flat.. has that new-lipstick kinda slant..

i find lingering to be a bit too auburn for me, and i think it would be well suited for a redhead.. it works for brunettes as well though, just use an easy hand.. stud was great as well, just quite dark, also need a gentle hand..

these are great because you can just use very precise, short strokes.. i havent hat much luck with powders, but a wax plus a pencil really works well.. i also like that you can back 2 mac these! all in all great product.
