DIY Lip Scrub
Published Nov 17, 2010

The winter can be brutal on lips. Often ours chafe, peel, and split. You can soften them and improve their texture with store bought lip scrubs, but before you hit the shops, try this very simple DIY lip scrub!
DIY SKINCARE Exfoliating Lip Scrub
- Clean container
- 4 Aspirin (the inexpensive type without a coating)
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 vitamin E capsule
In your clean container, add the aspirin and a few drops of water to break them down. If you prefer, you can supplement the aspirin with more brown sugar. Mix in all the other ingredients and your lip scrub paste is ready! If the consistency is too dry, add in more oil. If your scrub is too wet, add in more brown sugar. You can use your finger or a toothbrush to apply the scrub to your lips.
