"Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1" Premiere, 2011
Julia Jones may take a walk on the wild side in the Twilight series (her character is a werewolf!), but when it came to the film's premiere she opted for a simple style. The star's sheer white dress was the inspiration behind her natural look. "With Julia wearing such a soft flowing gown, we tried to keep her makeup in that same vein: angelic," her makeup artist Adam Breuchaud said**. **
Makeup
To begin, Adam used Dior 5-Colour Designer All-In-One Artistry Palette in Amber Design on Julia's lids to achieve a dash of drama without creating a heavy effect. Then, Adam added a slightly darker brow and great lashes to really enhance Julia's gorgeous features.
Hair
“The inspiration for the hair was clean, modern, and natural," Julia's hair stylist Cervando Maldonado said. To achieve this, he first ran Rose Veil Oil thru Julia's wet tresses to calm the frizz. Then, he dried her hair straight with a round brush, and while blow-drying, clipped each section up in a loose pin curl and let her hair set for 10 minutes. Next, Cervando released the curls and used an one and a half inch curling iron to create natural loose waves. He then applied a pea-size amount of Phyto Matte Texturizing Paste for extra body. Finally, Cervando finished with a spritz of L’Oreal Elnett Extra Hold Hair Spray to create hold without making the mane look stiff.
