WAY better than primer potion

I had always been an UD primer potion girl. I read all the reviews, seen it in every magazines "top beauty products" of whatever year and I just had to have it. I thought it was pretty fantastic until..

I got a sample of TooFaced Shadow Insurance! I was turned honny! I immediately fell in love with the texture and feel of it. Its thicker and less greasy than the "top rated" urban decay.

I tell all my beautys on a budget to invest in this primer bc it will make even the cheapest shaddows last!

:)

Cool concept but dont waste your money

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS MASCARA!

The *idea* behind the twisted brush sounds awesome, but its just messy. Too much product comes off and it just gets everywhere. The formula seems too "wet" and gloopy.

They tell you to look at the brush to determine what kind of lashes you want (big and busy brush= big and busy lashes) This concept does not apply to this mascara.

Again: extremely messy. Put your $19 towards something better :)

transforms brows!

I was shown this product a few days ago in Sephora, and I fell in love!

Ive always been skeptical of brow mascaras bc I didnt want it to look too heavy and scream "HEY! IVE GOT EYEBROWS!!"...but this brow gel is so light and non overwhelming. It adds the perfect amount of color when you use a spooley or disposable mascara wand to grab the color off the brush. Otherwise youre gonna get too much product and look a mess. The trick with this brow gel, is to work it into the skin a bit.

I love the wide range of colors that are available. The carmel is almost bronzey in a way, and it adds the perfect amount of highlight when used on the inner corners or your brows.

I used it along with my already penciled/filled in brows and instead of weighing down my face, it brightened it up. It made my eyes look warm and alive!

long lasting, GREAT color!

This product is NO JOKE! The staying power is phenomenal! I got a little on a patent leather Dereon bag, and I could not get it off for NOTHIN!

I use #17 under a tiny amount of matte black MUFE shaddow and it last well into the next day. (im not condoning falling asleep with your makeup on, but it happens...and MUFE products keep up through a night of tossing and turning and sleeping with your face in the pillows..so on the bright side, at least you wont ruin your linnens when youre wearing MUFE! )

Definitely worth they money, seeing as how a small amount goes far due to the intense pigments and mother of pearl particles. and the cool thing about it, is that unlike other "long lasting" products, its easy to work with. Its not gonna dry before you can blend it out to where you want it or layer it with shadows, diamond powders, or whatever your little heart desires :)

Aqua cream shaddows can also be used as as a lipstick, blush, or eyeliner. So for $22 youre getting 3 products that are going to last you a very very long time!

doubles the life of eyeshaddow!

Im reviewing the SMOKEY color of the high voltage eye primer.

This stuff is absolutely freakin fantabulous! Its like magic! FINALLY, somebody was smart enough to create this!

The smokey primer basically turns ANY eyeshaddow into a darker, bolder, smokier color and mattefies sheer colors, thus DOUBLING the amount of colors you have!

For $16 you cant go wrong! You get a large amount and a tiny dab goes such a long way!

full coverage, long wearing!

This foundationg is not only AMAZING bc of its coverage, but it has a really awesome backstory as to why it works, as far as anti aging goes.

When you first squirt it onto your brush/hands/sponge/whatever you use to apply, you might be a little put off by the smell. The reason for that smell is bc of one of the main ingredients: PEAT MOSS! Its the only anti-aging foundation to use peat as an ingredient, and heres why:

There was a group doing excavations over in Northern Europe and they stumbled upon these people, covered in moss, taking a nap. They tried to wake them up, but soon discovered that they werent sleeping, they were dead..Upon further examination and testing, they found that the corpses were over 3000 years old! Perfectly Preserved by the Peat Moss they were covered in..from their skin and features, right down to their internal organs! They are called "The Bog Bodies".

Tarte took this story, and decided to put Peat in the anti-aging foundation. If peat can preserve a body for 3000 years, Id say its legit ingredient for an anti-aging foundation! :)

The smell goes away, but if youre really that concerned- just tell people not to smell ya face! The coverage and wear is totally worth a few seconds of the soy-tofu like aroma.

I find it goes on best with a foundation brush. You dont have to use as much and a little goes a long way! Plus, the bottle uses an airless pump so you can get every last drop!

It is worth every single penny of $37!

I attached an UNEDITED photo of myself wearing the foundation, so you can see how amazing it makes your skin look!
