I Don't soak than in acetone , it melts the acrylic to your nails making it harder to come off and literally hurt a lot more you dot want acetone get non-acetone or go back to the salon and let them take them off.

For me the easiest way is to soak them 100% acetone. It softens the acrylic, making it easier to remove.

Soak cotton pads in acetone, wrap round your fingernails, then wrap tinfoil round the soaked cotton pads. Leave for 10-15 mins. They'll come off a lot easier.

Thank you all of you! I have taken off my own before... But I didn't do it right. I'm trying to avoid paying to have them taken off so I'll try acetone. (:

You can soak them in acetone, and do it for like 15 mins at a time twice, in between each soaking *gently* scrape off the melted acrylic with a mani stick. you will definitely need to buff and moisturize afterwards :)
