It's my 18th in a few weeks so I've been thinking about asking for a skin cleansing brush (as I'm obsessed with skincare!). I've been looking into the Clarisonic but I was wondering if there was any other good ones which also available in the UK as the Clarisonic is quite expensive (however I don't mind if it's really, really worth it!).
I have sensitive, combo skin which is mainly oily but feels incredibly dry and tight before moisturising and I get dryness under my eyes and around my mouth.
Thank you!

Also like to add that I get spots only during my period or when I'm really stressed :)

I watched a YouTube video one time that said you can get kind of like knock off Clarisonic brushes on Amazon that works exactly the same! Or maybe other websites might have the same knock off type thing that would work the same but save you the money

I absolutely love my Clarisonic, it's the best investment I've made for my skin. There's plenty of "dupes" and other cleansing brushes on the market however nothing truly uses the same sonic pulses that the Clarisonic uses to cleanse your skin and get deep into the pores. I highly suggest getting an actual Clarisonic, it's 100% worth the money.

Clarisonic! Completely worth the price! I've had mine for 3 1/2 years and I would be lost without it. In the time that I have owned mine, I have only not used it two times ever, and my skin look horrible! After seeing how well it works, I'm never going back!

I have actually tried the Luna and I really didn't care for it; it just didn't give my skin the deep cleaning as my Clarisonic does. And at about the same price, it just was a waste compared to how well my Clarisonic works for me.

You have to be careful with other knockoff brushes (other than the Luna) because they are actually damaging because they don't offer the unique pulses the Clarisonic does.

My only issue that I had was searching for the right brush head for my skin type. If you don't use the right one for you, then it can cause some irritation or maybe cause some purging (which I never had). Anyways I have super sensitive skin and I use the Delicate brush head.

One last problem I see about Clarisonic complaints is usually because they are not using it consistently. If you don't use it everyday as it is actually intended for, and is safe for your skin, then you are obviously not going to see results. I use mine once daily (sometimes twice if I'm have a hormonal breakout) and I do it at night AFTER removing my makeup. I want it to deep clean my skin, not just try to get my makeup off. One other important thing is to remember to not press it into the skin; you don't need to, it'll do the work for you because of the sonic pulses.

Hope this helped!

Forgot something!

I have both the Mia and Mia 2 (I bought the Mia 2 last year because I was traveling a lot, so I kept one in my suitcase to ensure I would always have it, and left the other at home).

Anyways, if I were to buy again, I would just go for the Mia; because the only difference is the brush settings, which I don't really notice makes a difference, and I never use it. So save the $50 and just go for the Mia 1.
