I've used the Estee Lauder Ceramide set and felt it was overpriced and ineffective. Definitely love the Dr. Brandt Glow with 2% Retinol..which I use as around my eyes..just not ever on the lid or near the membrane. I've done so without issue and love the results..especially on my cheeks and around my mouth, let alone my eye area, but you should acclimate your skin to Retinol. Every 3rd day at first...sunscreen always and moisturize..hydrating cleanser. To avoid getting in tge eye, you can be safe and apply a little coconut oil or aquaphor, which my Estie does before a peel. Then wssh your hands well. If you can get Roc Deep Wrinkle...also fantastic quality product. I think Mario Badescu Hyaluronic Eye Cream is some of the best I've ever used..hydrates and pumps up the tender eye area with very little product needed. It has never irritated my sensitive skin. I'd get some sweet almond oil...put that on when you are just watching tv or after a bath. There is more than one CeraVe AM...one offering little broad spectrum. I think Josie Moran Moisturizing Lotion or Dermalogica Age Smart is a better way to go, but love the CeraVe PM..especially their newer formulations. I'd add a toner, such as Mario Badescu Seaweed Lotion or Thayers, aloe based alcohol free toner. I'm just sharing my own preferences and so ultimately if you have your heart set on something..go for it.

Note that for oily skin, Retinoids will dry..producing more oil..so toning and moisturizing will keep your oily skin from over producing oils. Sorry..I just want to be thorough.

I've used Ole Henriksen's Ultimate Eye Lift Gel, and Total Truth Eye Cream SPF 15. Currently using Mario Badescu's Ceramide Eye gel and I'm going to try La Roche-Posay PigmentClar Eye cream. What I've noticed is that my dark circles and puffy eyes are much better now that I'm drinking tons of water, eating healthier and sleeping better. For night moisturizer I've used Origins NightAMins and KORRESS Wild Rose + Vitamin C. I'm currently loving Aveeno Smart Essentials which is strange because I've never been into drugstore products.
To be clear, my skincare regimen is extreme. Most days and nights are 6 steps. But on a day where I apply a mask or wear makeup it can be ten. Just remember to not create drying or excess oil problems as Rozberry warned. Look at your skin as a whole and not for just its issues. You want to enhance the good things while working on the bad.
