I've been seeing a lot of face washed that have charcoal in them. I'm tempted to try it but not sure how it would be. Any of you ladies heard anything about it or have tried it personally? Please let me know!! Thanks in advance <3Nelly.

I prefer using the Freeman's charcoal & sugar mask/scrub. I tried the biore wash, but I personally hate mentholated face wash so I stopped using it pretty quickly. But I love the mask. My face feels so soft and looks so clear after I use it.

I agree with looking into a charcoal mask instead. I love the Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask (:

Bioré makes a thing called a one minute heating mask - it comes in a little packet and you apply it to your face and as you apply it, it warms on your skin (and it feels quite lovely, actually) and after a minute you rinse it off. My skin felt so smooth and clean after using it...it's a shame only 4 packets come in a box! The Freeman Charcoal & Sugar scrub/mask is good too, though I didn't like it so much for a mask, it's better as a scrub. Garnier makes a charcoal scrub as well that works great, but I feel like if you don't have oily skin like me, it may dry your skin out from the foaminess. Try the Bioré wash you wanna try, anything charcoal is usually pretty great!

The Freemans mask is definitely amazing. I have sensitive combination skin and it did not dry me out or cause a break out. I felt like my skin was softer more hydrated and clearer after I used the mask.

I think it was this one I've tried but not 100% sure but I do know it was from this Biore charcoal line. I washed my face with a sample pack it was fine, then I went and bought the bottle &&Whoowhee did it burn. it has a strong mint thing going on, I had to return it. if you're willing to try something else maybe you can do the charcoal masks like the ladies suggest and try African black soap, it has helped me tremendously.

Thank you so much ladies!! I'm not a fan of minty tingly face wash so thanks for the info. I'll look into a charcoal face mask <3.
