Beauty Product Reviews

Nice product.

The Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner is in a glass-like plastic container with a screw on lid, and also includes a brush for application. I have two out of four shades, Blackest Black and Brown. I will be reviewing Blackest Black. Blackest Black is an average Black shade, and is generally smooth, and can be smudged out within the first minute of application for a smoky look, Which is actually nice. It dries within a minute, so fast drying as well. The brush included is soft, but I prefered to use it as a back-up pencil brush. I like angled brushed for eyeliners, plain and simple. I haven't tested out it's waterproof claim, but it is very long lasting on the top lid. I do see minimal smudging on the lower lashline, and I haven't tried it in the waterline over pencil or alone since I have a perfectly good brown pencil eyeliner so I see no reason why it needs to be there. My eyes tend to water throughout the day no matter whether I wear makeup or not, so I guess I can blame the watering eyes for the smudging on the lower lashline, but otherwise a perfectly good gel eyeliner. 5 and a half stars, docked half a star for the smudging and how the brush sort of sucked.

Average product, Nifty idea though.

The Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush is in a small circular plastic packaging, with the shade listed on the back with ingredients and the shade number, the front having the products name and brand on the lid. I have two out of the ten shades in the line, Hot Tamale, 70 and Pink Frosting, 10. I will be reviewing Pink Frosting, but I will briefly describe Hot Tamale. Hot Tamale looks like a deep coral-pink, Verging on a light magenta pink. The texture is great for application with fingers, Which is my preferred method for products like this, But I have attempted application with a stipple brush which brought poor results. The product lasts for about 4 hours before looking faded. It goes on as a sheer pinky coral color. Pink Frosting is an average light pink, Perfect for all skin tones, But it, like Hot Tamale, applied sheer, and is a smooth application with fingers. Stippling it or buffing it on with a stipple brush brought little to no color, So I apply it with my fingers, Which is the recommended way of application from information from the website. It deserves an average 4-star rating, Since it does as it claims, But it can seem a bit unsanitary with application using your fingers. It did blend well and evenly though.

Could pass as a liquid lipstick, Amazing!

The Revlon Colorburst lipgloss is in a plastic packaging, with a quilted-effect on two sides of the four sided cap, Which twists off to reveal a doefoot applicator. I have two of the sixteen shades, which is a large variety for lipgloss shades from the drugstore, Fire and Sunset Peach. Fire is the gloss I'll be focusing the review on, but really briefly I'll explain what Sunset Peach is. Sunset Peach is a sheer coral gloss with a subtle shimmer, and has decent lasting time, about 2 hours before having to reapply on it's own, 4 hours with a lipstick and lip liner underneath. Fire is an amazing pigmented gloss, An opaque bold red color. On the lips it seems like a lipstick on it's own, or a liquid lipstick as I would categorize it. It is not sticky at all, and the texture is great on my lips. It does wear off within 2 hours, with or without lipstick or lip liner underneath, But it is still a great product. A 5 star worthy product.

Nice!

Very creamy texture on the lips, doesn't feel very heavy, like a sheer tint. You can easily build up this on your lips and go for a sheer pop of color, Or use it as a full on lipstick with some gloss. Not only that, But I accidentally licked my lips and it had this nice vanilla-ish taste. Excellent product<3

Nice product.

Fair light was too light for me, which surprised me so I went for Natural Light. Perfect match, and the squeezy tube is easy to use. A little goes a long way, and covers my dark circles excellently. My acne is also excellently covered by this. Awesome product. c:

Very good product!

The packaging and the applicator is nice, I like it. Other than that it's a decent product. It's just a liquid eyeliner. I shook the product thoroughly with the cap on, Then used the eyeliner. IT flowed out onto the tip easily, No dripping and it performed well. Like it says, It is easy to hold and use. I gave it 4 stars out of five, Purely because of the bad reviews.

Get what you pay for.

The E.L.F Tone Correcting Concealer is a basic concealer in a small, plastic tube. The packaging is simple with a white plastic screw-off sponge-wand that is also the cover to the product. There is obviously not much product in it, But since the price is $1, it was a worthy purchase. it illuminated my under-eye area, And also concealed my dark circles better than what I had imagined. It is not well for blemishes though, And if not set with a powder can stray away in the middle of the day. Slightly greasy, But not so much it'd interfere with the product. Overall it's a very great product for the price.

Pros: -Price. -Coverage in the under-eye area. -Illumination. -Color Selection.

Cons: -Has a slight greasy feeling. -Doesn't cover discoloration or blemishes very well. -Packaging. -Small size of product.

Overall: Very decent product, I will re-purchase this again. Four and a Half Stars.

Cakey, Not really good for undereye.

So, I got the lightest shade and I tried it after suffering a few months without a concealer. It isn't really for my under eye circles, And cakes up really easily. On my blemishes it works really well, But It doesn't last throughout the day without at least two touch ups. I love all WNW products, But this one is just sort of a miss.

Decent eyeshadow for a beginner.

NOTE: I used the brushes included in this product, Not my own. This is based off my opinion of how well the product worked with the brushes included.

I love the WNW eyeshadow singles, A friend gave one for Christmas and I absolutely loved it. So when i saw the trios, I thought Hey, Why not? I loved the singles, So the trios should be awesome too. Note I did use my own brushes for the singles. When I bought the trio, I was discouraged to find my eyeshadow brushes were drying still ( I had just washed them then went out shopping to let them dry ) so, I used the little brushes included with the trio. The brushes are good for a decent amount of product on your eye, But not enough for me. So I used my clean fingers for my eyelid and brow bone, And the little crease brush included since the spongy wasn't give enough product. In general: The brushes suck. The eyeshadow itself, Is extremely pigmented and I would buy again, But next time I'll be using my own brushes.

Quick drying, Awesome colors.

I got this for my birthday a few months back in May, And this nail polish is still good. I also have 401A, the clear nail protector, And I have to say, This is the best nail polish I have ever had. It dries quickly, About a minute or two, And It has some great colors. I plan on getting another soon, And for only 99 cents where I am, It's a excellent price for an awesome product.

Pros: - Glides on smoothly, No bumps/air bubbles as far as I can tell. -Cheap price. -Convenient size. Perfect for a traveling nail polish. -Fast drying. I don't have to wait half an hour just to have my nails dry.

Cons: -Not a large color selection. Needs more colors so I can buy them all! ;)
