Beauty Product Reviews

I LOVE this product

Everyone mentions the smell so I won't except to say that it's obviously awesome! I will say my favorite thing about this product is that it's matte! It's perfect for my cool/neutral leaning light/medium skin as a contour. I also use it as a bronzer. Also, it lasts literally forever. FOREVER. I love it.

Could be better than sex...

... If this was waterproof. I think making a waterproof formula version of this product would just rock my world. I love the brush and the formal as it is, is actually ok. It's not perfect though. I have naturally long lashes, so I think this mascara really makes them pop! I have noticed that by the end of the day though, my lashes aren't holding their curl anymore. Also, the brush holds WAY too much product and I have to blot the product on a tissue before applying otherwise it's spider lashes and gloopy clumpy lashes for days. I haven't noticed any smudging or flaking though, which is good.

My Boyfriend smelled my face...

If you have tried Too Faced's other shadow palettes and have been disappointed, give this palette a chance anyway! I wasn't sure if I would like it, but after purchasing it... I haven't stopped using it. I love the mix of shimmers and mattes (dual high lighting shades!!!!), and that Creme Brûlée is perfect in every way. Also, the smell is pretty amazing. This palette isn't perfect, and a couple of shadows don't blend as well as I want them to, but they still blend pretty well. You get your money's worth!

Just Do Yourself a Favor

...And buy this product. BUY IT. It's so wonderful I really can't describe it. I'm a waterproof only kind of girl, so my mascara and eyeliner is often super difficult to remove. My normal routine is to use a makeup remover wipe, then a cleanser + my Clarisonic, and then after the shower before moisturizing, use an oily makeup remover liquid on either a cotton round or a q-tip. Often, there's still a hint of makeup left around my eyes. After only using Bioderma a few times, I feel like I need to throw out all my wipes and makeup remover products. Just soak a cotton round, place over your eye, hold for a minute or so and then gently wipe. You should have NO MAKEUP LEFT on your eye. It's super gentle, no burning, no scent, and best of all... NO RESIDUE. This is also PERFECT for cleaning up those little mistakes when applying makeup (like when you mess up your wing!), or for cleaning up fallout before going in with the rest of your makeup! Since there's no oily residue left behind, reapplying makeup goes on so nicely! I will DEFIENTLY be purchasing a larger bottle when the time comes.

The Only Brow Product for Me

Well this and the brow gel. Seriously, the thin sharp defined line is perfect for outlining those power brows or for those who like a more natural look. I have naturally full brows, so after my regular grooming routine (i.e. getting them waxed/cleaned up), I love using this product just to define the edges and give them a polished look. The waxy feel of the product seriously lasts and lasts and lasts, and topped with the brow gel... Well, we have love forever. I will never stray from Brow Wiz.

Multi-purpose!

I love this stuff. Take some eye shadow (either loose or scraped up from a pressed pan) and, on a hard surface (I like the little metal mixing tray tin that same with my Stila Foil Shadows), add the tiniest drop (not even half a drop, more like 1/4 a drop) and you have custom eye liner. Obviously the liner won't be as long lasting a waterproof or actual eyeliner, but it's still so cool, and lasts longer on the eye than you would think. The actual purpose, to my knowledge, is to revive dried out gel liners. I have mixed 1/2 a drop with my Inglot AMC Gel Liners and my Bobbie Brow gel liner and boom! Basically brand new. Duraline doesn't effect the long wear lasting power of my gel liners, it just brings them back from the dead. (Obviously, if your liners are so old as to be expired, don't use this!)

Creamy, Smooth, Basic Gel Liner

I have this liner in three colors: Black, dark brown, and the dark purple shade. I love all of them and use them fairly regularly. I wish the purple was more... bright (but not neon). Overall, the pigment is great, the application is smooth (no tugging on the lid, and you don't have to dip your brush back into the jar often), and the wear is pretty great. I can get a full day's wear, but I have to set the liner with a matching eyeshadow. My one complaint is that the jar seems to go dry a bit fast, so make sure to spend the extra $9 for some Duraline to revive the gel.
