Beauty Product Reviews

Matte lipsticks aren't for everyone, but I personally love the retro look of them. I apply Eco Lips lipbalm underneath and it helps keep my lips from drying out. I don't find the formula particular moisturizing, but that isn't the nature of a matte lipcolor. The lighter colors do require a bit of finesse if you have pigmented lips, but they are much more wearable if you apply clear lipgloss on top.

These last FOREVER on the lips and are extremely pigmented. They are also vegan, which is a wonderful bonus for such an affordable product. My favorites: Smokin' Hot Pink, Coral-line, and Just Peachy.

I usually like using more natural makeup products, but a primer really does need silicone to do its job and glide on top of skin. This stuff really helps to fill in pores, and provides smooth makeup application. It isn't a miracle worker if you have oily skin, you will still need to touch up with a mattifying powder but it does help prolong the wear of makeup. Its very affordable too, I just wish Hard Candy products were available somewhere other than Wal-Mart.

Multi-purpose wonder!

The E.L.F. studio golden bronzer is a wonderful, cheap, multi-purpose product. I mainly use it for an all over summery glow. You can also use each separate shade for eyeshadows, which makes it a great product to throw in your overnight bag. The packaging is sturdy and sleek, and it has a nice big mirror for touch-ups. This is not a product meant for contouring, as it is shimmery. I wouldn't say its over shimmery though, its subtle. This is a product I've purchased 3 separate times and it will always have a place in my makeup collection.
