Halloween is one of my most favorite times of the year! Unfortunately, it can also be a very expensive time. From candy to costumes to home decor, it all adds up. I wish I could have compiled a shorter video, but here I give over 16 tips, suggestions and ideas on how to be resourceful this Halloween, some minor makeup tips, how to keep more money in your pocket and some basic safety reminders to keep you comfortable and safe as well. I really dislike it turned out to be over 14 minutes but I promise you I felt each tip was important enough to share. Remember, I know that all these tips can't help everyone but hopefully a few can help anyone!

Keep Halloween fun by not going broke, being prepared with your costume and by making sure you don't show up with generic costumes or decor!
Take it from me, I'm a vampire :K
===MORE TIPS & SUGGESTIONS===
* Subscribe to online mailing lists of costume shops or the Spirit Store shop online and I only say that because they mail you coupons! You can usually use them on the most expensive item you buy. It helps!
* Draw a concept sketch of your ideal costume if you're feeling overwhelmed. This way you can figure out everything you want from your shoes to what's on your head. Hey, you don't have to be an artist. Just having a point of reference will help organize your thoughts!
* Use things like red food coloring, red kool aid powder, tempura paint, acrylic paint, water, strawberry jam, honey, syrup or ketchup (not all together) to create your own last minute fake blood!

Look out for my upcoming Halloween tutorials and photoshoot videos this month! I have worked quite hard on them :) All in the spirit of dress-up, spookines and Halloween.
