I've timed myself - my basic make-up routine takes less than two minutes, especially if I am quick and efficient. And in this video, I consider the look my level 4 basic because of the four steps in addition to the super basic look of just wearing eyeliner - which takes me only 24 sec. What really helped save time too is just spot concealing and not using foundation. I prefer a natural, effortless groomed look over a finished look anyway, so applying foundation, defining my eyebrows and lips haven't been a part of my routine in years. (I did recently start to use lipliners again though.) Also, if like me, you care to be presentable but is actually low-maintenance and can't be bothered to spend too much time in front of the mirror, I highly recommend cosmetic products with dual purposes to save even more time.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Some may call it self-love, others may call it self-respect, either way, I believe that I deserve to take some time to take care of myself each day which includes taking care of my appearance each morning. When you look good, you feel good, and that feeling is empowering. That energy could set the tone for the day and affect everything you do. So why not make the time especially if it could only take a couple of minutes each morning? It might be unnecessary to some, but any boost is a positive in my humble opinion; plus, I am not naive to believe that perception and appearances don't have any influence on certain aspects of life. No one likes it, but it's just reality.⁣⁣⁣⁣
