these will be longer sessions filmed in mostly real-time with minimal cuts (to make it roughly half an hour), unlike my other time lapse videos. we focus on one simple artistic task, leaving room for experimentation. we let go of perfection, not judging any of the choices we make during the session. the focus is on the PROCESS rather than the finished piece.

you are encouraged to draw, paint, journal, or whatever you'd like along with me, creating a sense of CALM together ♡

today's session, i’m playing with the app procreate and exploring painting digital marble patterns. i've seen many tutorials on painting marble patterns with cheap paint and dish soap on a canvas, but since i lack the space and the materials (def don't know where i could get them during quarantine either), i thought i'd try it out digitally! what i enjoyed most about this process was how the colours would blend on their own, creating lines and shapes that wouldn't be able to be recreated. it was a very therapeutic session and i hope it gives you the same feeling!
