Natural Hair: Daily Moisturizing Might Not Be For You (High Shrinkage Club) Ever heard of HSC? Probably not cause I just made up the acronym, lol. HSC is High Shrinkage Club, I’m sure you’re like “Oh yea I know shrinkage far too well.” Well there is shrinkage and then there is high shrinkage. If your hair shrinks to about 1/3 of its true length you’re apart of the “High Shrinkage Club” welcome! Hair with high shrinkage will tend not to form clumped up curls instead, each individual hair coils down and around each strand intertwining. When your hair dries in this state i.e. Wash and Go you open doors for tangles (ewww that dreaded word). Watch this video on how daily moisturizing can effect us HSC Naturals.
