I realized as I was editing this that this is a very natural comparison to make, but I didn't connect the dots in the video! If you're curious about how the two compare, here it is: Revlon's Moisture Stains have a slightly thinner, more gel-like consistency. With some shades, it takes a little bit of layering to get the pigmentation seen in the packaging, while the Smashbox require one swipe. The Moisture Stains have a distinctly chemical smell (to me) that the Smashbox Lip Lacquers lacked, and they were definitely more drying than the Smashbox lippies. While Smashbox's Lip Lacquers are over double the price of Revlon's, I think you pay for what you get. The Revlon Moisture Stains definitely get the job done, and look great doing it, but they aren't without shortcomings. The only thing you need to worry about with Smashbox's Lip Lacquers is which shade to get!
