So here I am back at the hospital in labor and delivery with another pregnancy related scare. This one has me really concerned. ICP or also known as Cholestasis is a form of liver "disease" you can get while pregnant and it causes severe itching in the mother but has much worse effects on the unborn baby. It can cause still birth after 37 weeks. Bile collects under the skin of the mother which in turn causes her to itch really bad. I have all of the symptoms of this so was told to go to hospital to be tested. Still to this day I am waiting on my bile acid test results to come back to tell me for sure if I have Cholestasis or not. Please send prayers for me and baby Gracie that the test results come back ok. I am also still experiencing the itching.
