After many years of working out, one day I finally attempted to do a few pull ups. To my surprise I could not do a single one. This was, needless to say, embarrassing and disappointing.
A few years ago, my husband had a pull up bar installed and started doing P90X training. I mean this guy was pumping out hundreds of pull ups daily. Back then I was uninterested, only focusing on losing my postpartum belly fat after giving birth to my 10.5 lb baby girl.
Now, after taking up running for over two years as well as strength training, I'm seeing more and more females into calisthenics. This stuff looks super exciting and like the ultimate way to lose weight, get ripped and to build stamina and endurance.
I'm on a mission! Not just for legs. Women need upper body strength too!
