HELPFUL TIPS:
* I prefer hot glue for all my crafts, BUT it will not last for most plastic and metal projects. If you’re not crafting for fun like me, extend the life of your DIYS by using industrial strength glue.
*For DIY #1, I experienced a raised based after pulling and gluing the string in place, so use a light hand if you do this project. Gluing the bottom first, then the top part was easier for me. Find something with a pointed edge for the top. The plastic container lost its shape a little and my tree top is lopsided For display, I added faux snow to the inside of the tree.
* For DIY #2 carefully cut the beaded tie, it’s held together with plastic not string. If you place the diamond wrap around the vase without cutting it, the bottom will be uneven.
*For DIY #3, DO NOT EXECUTE AS I DID. This was a back up plan, as shared in the video. To accomplish this bulb wreath glue the bulbs directly to the wire wreath and your finished in 30 minutes or less. My “plan B” took almost 2 hours ( I had to stop and start, but the work is tedious). For another bulb wreath option, cut out a wreath shape circle using cardboard, glue the bulbs on and stack them for dimension! If you decided to do what I did, once the wreath was done, I glued mini bulbs on top to cover any gaps.
* Go to Hobby lobby Joann Fabrics, or check Amazon, Etsy, and buy in bulk for gems, trim, beads and pearls! Buying at Dollar Tree isn’t always the cheapest option. I bought 1 pound of gems and pearls for $8 when they were 50% off and I paid $7 for of gems at joann when they were 70% off. 2 rolls of green twine
Glass marbles
Hot glue
Pearls (larger ones from hobby lobby)
Glitter
Mod Podge
Brush

Red beaded tie
Glass vase
Adhesive diamond wrap
Mini silver bow
Gems (some are from hobby lobby)
Wire wreath frame
Wire cutters
Small bulbs (6) 15 pk
Mini bulbs (3) 16 pk
Pliers
Floral wire
