Ah, the BellaCaba Fashion Tote! Meet my new love, she’s decorative, loud, free-spirited, fashionable, and unapologetic. She loves rich culture and vibrant colors. She also loves handbags and shoes as much as I do.


I LOVE handbags and they LOVE ME! I was inspired to create this canvas tote after seeing the Mexicaba and the Manilacaba Christian Louboutin Bags.


I was also deeply inspired by the beautiful, hand-embroidered bags in Mexico. The incredible artisans also inspired me create something colorful and unique. This larger than life fashion tote was so fun to create with the mix and layering of patches, pom poms and rhinestones.



Instructions for Iron on patches: set with a light steam iron and press for 10 seconds. Iron to be set on medium. Try a patch test on fabric to avoid burning fabric. Place a wooden board under garment to make sure it’s a flat surface. Make sure to peel the backs of the patches if they have a protective cover.




TIP: Always take the measurements of the bag into account when buying charms and patches for your project. You want to make sure that all items will fit. I try to always take the bags to the supply store to measure against the stones before purchase. Be careful handling your embellished bag, these are showpieces and are to be handled with care or the stones will fall off.
