I moved to Merida, Mexico almost 6 months ago after living for two years in Thailand. A lot of what happens in the US doesn't directly affect me but I do still have family there so I keep up with what is happening. As I watch coverage of the shutdown over the wall that borders the US & Mexico, I can't help but feel sorry for those folks who are directly affected.
