I have naturally curly hair. As a kid my hair was straight and became wavy and then around age 12 or so went totally curly! I didn't know how to care for it or how to style it because no one else in my family had curly hair. I've tried gel, mousse and creams for curly hair, but I always come back to a few favorites. If you have any curly hair recommendations, I would love to hear them!
These are the items I'm using right now (affiliate links used below)
Aveda Dry Remedy $29
https://goo.gl/FU2q3a
I've been using this hair oil off and on for about a year, Aveda sent it to me in a PR package last winter. I haven't noticed a big change in my hair since I started using it, but I have really bad split ends because of all the straightening and heat styling I've been doing lately, so a hair oil has become part of my routine.
Briogeo Rosarco Blow Dry Perfection & Heat Protectant Creme $24
https://goo.gl/7MniJo
This came in a Boxycharm box recently. It doesn't weight down my hair at all, so I'm liking it.
Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Tousling Mousse $4
https://goo.gl/CCbss3
I love this mousse because it's affordable and gives me just the right amount of hold. I've been using this for 6+ years. They have another one for curly hair (I think it's called Totally Twisted) but Tousle Me Softly is where it's at.
Aussie Sprunch Hairspray $3
https://goo.gl/M2iefz
Another very affordable item. This can make your hair crunchy if you overuse it, so I just do a few spritzes.
ConAir Hair Dryer

I use an old ConAir blowdryer, I don't know what model it is, it's rubbed off, but I've had this for 5 or 6 years, and it's doing really well. The attachment came with my model, it's a basket diffuser.
NuMe 18mm Curling Wand $69
https://goo.gl/ObMsYk
This is an old version of the NuMe classic 18mm wand, I definitely need a new one!!
Devacurl SuperCream Coconut Curl Styler $28
http://www.devacurl.com/supercream.html
I don't use this cream every day, I only use it after heat styling if there are any fly aways or frizz. Otherwise this is my go-to curl reviver on day two hair.
