Hi everyone! ^_^ Today's video is a huge Legend of Zelda cosplay collaboration - I'm portraying Din, one of the three golden goddesses. For more details about this Legend of Zelda makeup look and where to check out my collaborators' looks, make sure to read the info below!

What a nice way to send off the Halloween season, eh? :3 This was a big collaboration Bethany (TheBethanyFae) organized a few months ago. I was originally going to be the Great Fairy, but when I did the actual look the wig just fell apart and I had no way to salvage it. So at the last minute I switched my look to Din, which is why it looks so simple. If I could do this over, I would go all out with the accessories and DIY stuff.

For the makeup I wanted it to actually be reflective of what Din might look like in reality. So, unfortunately, no shironuri makeup this time; I kept with my actual skin tone instead.

I screwed up the eye makeup pretty bad...but managed to save it at the end. But I wanted to do a smokey eye because I wanted her eyes to really stand out. Plus, I needed to do something other than a fancy cut crease look ;P

I added the freckles because I wanted to add more texture to Din's skin and make it look more "human." And, because she is the friggin Goddess of Power, she needs to look like it, right? I added rhinestones on my face to make her look more fancy :3

I based her look also off the oracle from Oracle of Seasons. She looks similar to the Din statue in Wind Waker so I thought that would be a good reference point.

I also did an obscene amount of color grading and editing in this video. I tried a new editing workflow here to improve my video quality...plus I worked with animating things in Adobe Premiere Pro (look closely at the text and triforce, yeh). There is at least 27 hours put into this for just the video editing alone. AGH!
