Recipe
- 2 cups of long rice - about 1 cup/person -
- 4 cups of hot water - always use 2x water, the preference is for boiling water -
- 1/4 onion - diced -
- 1 garlic clove - minced -
- oil
- salt
How to:
Wash the rice and let it dry.
At high heat, put a little bit of oil in the pan. Let it heat a little, and then put the onion. Let the onion start to release its liquid, and then put the garlic. Stir the onion and garlic just enough to let the awesome smell appears.
Put the rice, and stir a little bit. Put the salt - I used about 1 tsb, but you can use as much as you want - , and stir till the rice is kind of shining.
Put the water, and let it boil. When it's starting to dry reduce the flame to the lowest and cover.Wait about 6 to 8 min and then it's ready - to check if it's ready just look if the rice in the bottom is kin of brownish -.
