I am continuing the war on adult acne and recently repurchased the Acne.org Regimen. I previously used this system in 2012 with great results. This time, however, I was not as pleased. I am used to hyperpigmentation, sensitive skin and acne, but this time around I experienced what I believe to be an allergic reaction to the system.

My eyes became extremely red, swollen, puffy and itchy. The skin above my eyes was also peeling and flaky. The area below my eyes was swollen as well and led to very obvious deep wrinkles under my eyes. None of this could really be covered with makeup.

Along with my eyes being swollen, my neck was extremely irritated. It became visibly red and uncontrollably itchy. It was a terrible cycle where I scratched because it itched, and it became redder. Thankfully, I was able to cover this with makeup.

My lips had the feeling of being sunburned. This effected the way that I wore my lipstick, because it would not stay on my lips correctly.

Unfortunately, I had this negative experience with the Acne.org regimen, however, I have experienced great results in the past, and I have heard of many acne success stories. For some reason this time the Acne.org system just did not work for my adult acne.
