I only had 10 minutes to do my makeup when I filmed this. This is my life most days. I don’t generally have an hour to spend beautifying myself, I don’t think my daughter would allow me that luxury ☺ I’ve perfected the art of quickly getting ready while looking well put together. This just goes to show that you can still wear makeup and look cute without using too many products or spending too much time in front of the mirror.

I went for a very simple red lip and eyeliner combo, which is my go to when I’m in a hurry, some days I don’t even apply eye shadow. I used a mix of drugstore and high- end brands.

My foundation was Maybelline’s Fit Me Matte and Poreless, which I reviewed and featured in my June Favorites video. I guess you could say that I like it ☺ It just covers my imperfections so well! I didn’t even use concealer for this makeup look.

I used the Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation, which I reviewed in a previous video. This sets my makeup and makes everything come together nicely.

Next, I did my brows using the NYX Mico Pencil. This is very good for creating a natural look with the brows. I am, however, going to be experimenting with different brow products. I recently purchased a new NYX eyebrow product and I’m excited to see how it works.

For eye shadow I used a couple of pallets. I am STILL using the Urban Decay Naked palette, yes, the original lol. I haven’t purchased any of the other ones. I’m barely through the first. I used the neutral colors in the palette for my eyes. Then I used the Wet N Wild Color Icon Eye shadow Palette because it features a really pretty non-shimmery highlight color, which I put under my eyebrows and in my inner corner.

Then I used a Wet N Wild black eyeliner. I kept my liner very simple and used a brush to smudge it some.

Next, I used the Makeup Forever Smoky Extravagant Mascara, which is my number 1 FAVORITE mascara! It holds a special place in my heart. It just works so well. I have very short and light lashes, and this mascara makes it look like I have long super black lashes. What more could I ask for?

For my red lip, I used NYX Matte Lipstick in Eden. It creates the prettiest red lip color.

Finally, I used NYX Matte Finishing Spray to set my makeup, keep everything in place and me oil free ☺
