Just part your hair and plait everywhere, little tiny ones and leave them overnight, it looks ridiculous when it's done but when you take them out you should be left with natural looking waves like hers :)

Braid everywhere, put a braid on either side, a braid in the back, and a braid for the top..the more braids the curlier it will be.

Actually a regular braid might give your curls a 'z' shape
A French braid might give your curls more of an 's' shape

It should come out like that! And then you can use a little hair spray and tousle it up to make it look similar to Maia's...(you probably won't even need hairspray)
