I don't think you can have too many tattoos but I do think you either need to have only a couple or a lot because then it just looks weird. I am getting the word Joy on the inner side of my right ankle. It is my middle name, my aunts middle name, and my grandmas first name. Then I am getting the initials GOL after my grandpa. I would also love to get a tiny celtic knot, the om symbol, and a moon.

I love tattoos! I do think you can go a little overboard but it's your body so if you don't want to be able to see your actual skin anymore then go for it! Your body = your choice. I don't think all tattoos need a meaning, my mom has two and she got them because she thought they were cute, my aunt has one and my cousin too for the same reason. For me personally I want whatever I put on my body permanently to have meaning but on others I love seeing cool tattoos whether they have a meaning or not! I have five tattoos planned and without a doubt I will have them sometime! I've wanted them for over a year now and I don't see me not wanting them... ever. I'm just waiting to turn eighteen because my mom won't sign for one since she's afraid I'll regret it. The five I want have a lot of meaning to me having to do with things I've overcame/been through/am still going through.
