I would do the Hourglass if your skin is on the dry side- I think the Porefessional and Primed and Poreless are better for oily skin. I like MAC Prep and Prime. My skin can get dry in winter with the windy climate here and that works well for me.

Dr. Jart Pore Medic primer is fabulous. I like Laura Mercer's Spackle, too. My skin is super oily and acne prone, and they both work really well.

I'm on the Hourglass bandwagon! love their primer. Also another good one is from BECCA, I use the pore refining. I received a sample of the Cover fx primer with 1% scylic acid. not sure if it's anything special yet.

Hourglass is more for dry skin. It made my skin dry and patchy. I'm in love with Lancome Base Pro (:. Silky smooth like pearls and just amazing with my Lancome Teint Idole 24h foundation  (:
