Yes. Is your hair really strait? If so then maybe that's why the curls come out. The wet hair is a good idea. And maybe with some mouse.

No my hair is kinda of wavy. but I was thinking that too maybe with some mouse or product and also some of the buns fell out when I was sleeping so maybe make them tighter
