Another option is sulfur treatments, like murad's spot acne treatment. If salicyclic acid and benzoyl peroxide don't work well for you, it's definitely worth a try. Super effective but also gentle on your skin at the same time!

I think all of you should stop insulting this girl. She has a different method which worked for her, an dint want to be lectured or argued with, so she said "whatever" to avoid confrontation. Its not a big deal and she isn't befalling about you Jocelyn, so you should be mature and get over it and stop acting so pretentious towards people your own age:) just a thought.

ANYWAY. I'll put in my two cents and say that I lean towards vaseline not clogging pores. Something about the molecules of pure petroleum oil being too big to clog the pore...idk, I just know that I use it on my extremely-sensitive-breaks out with everything skin with no clogged pores. When it comes to the actual question, I've found that benzoyl peroxide works better for me. I've read that many products actually contain way too much of both. If you're going to use one, do a bit of research. The stuff that works the best for me is AcneFree, which has less than 5% benzoyl peroxide. The stronger stuff can cause too much irritation, which can cause more angry pimples.
