I can respect anyone's tattoos and piercings, but I'm very selective about my own. I have a whole list of things that I want. One of which (the only one that's a design and not words) is a hamsa, similar to this. It's a Jewish symbol of protection against evil.

Oh I didn't mean it like that. Sorry. Tattoos are cool, they're just not for me. I like them as long as I can make them out. Lol I hate when people have like a gajillion different tattoos that I can't even identify what they are anymore. At that point it's not visually appealing.

I love piercings. I've had spider bites, 4 lip piercings, a monroe, a medusa, a bellybutton piercing, a nostril piercing, my septum, my tongue, my nipples & hip dermals. I just had surgery and they took my dermals out while I was getting my appendix removed & I legitimately cried when I found out. My piercings complete me, I honestly don't feel like myself without them. like, I feel naked, haha. I'm getting my dimples done next. I have one tattoo. I got it behind my mom's back by some shady dude in a basement last year when I was 16 and I sort of regret that. It says "vanity", which I got on my wrist so when I feel insecure I can look at it and remind myself that I'm beautiful. It isn't the best quality though, obviously, so I wish I would have waited to get it done professionally. When I turn 18, I'm going to get a caricature of Edgar Allan Poe on one foot & a raven on the other, "None Of Us Are Saints" along my collar bone, a semicolon inside my forearm, a poem my mom wrote on my thigh in her handwriting, and a collage of serial killers on my other thigh. I'll probably add a lot more pieces once I get started, but that's what I'm set on so far.

hahaha, I'm so sorry I went off on a huge rant, but I love modifications with all my heart.

Lol Nala I totally feel you when you can't even identify them anymore it's like 😳 whoa. To each their own, but I totally agree that when it's too much it's a bit overwhelming. However, I like the tattoos that have meaning or reasoning behind them, not much of a fan on the random butterfly on your shoulder kinda thing. Btw Hannah that Hamsa is beautiful I'm Jewish too so that would be something with meaning to me. That's what I mean. I've always wanted a tiny little music note behind my right ear bc music is a big part of my life and I'm a singer so that would mean a lot to me
