I want to get this dress made in yellow, but people are telling me that it's too simple for prom.
I like dresses that are simple but elegant. What do you think of the dress?

Not too simple. Girl to my prom, I wore a knee length sequined shift. It's all about what you like.

Hannah you are so right. I'm tired of thinking about whether or not others will think that I look cute. I really like that dress.

How the heck is that simple? I literally wore a typical Angelina Joelie dress. Long black just on shoulder and a high slit. Couldn't get anymore simpler than that lol.

Yup same here. When I got to prom everyone in glitters, sparkles, or sequins. Plus I'm tall so showing off my legs was a plus whereas everyone was just showing off their boobs or their stuffed boobs lol.
Everyone wanted glitter and sparkles. Same with their make up. Prom dresses or long dresses in general aren't cheap so I didn't want something I could only wear that one time. I wanted something that I could wear again ten years from now. That dress isn't simple, I think it's a good pick because you can actually wear it again in years time without losing your money. I'm pretty sure you can wear that again at 22..25..27..29..30...35... And it's not so crazy that if you ever have a daughter or someone you want to give it to that they'll be like ew wth. Whereas the girls showing up with their giant puffed out disco ball dresses I'm not so sure. I had a neighbor who offered hers from like two years ago and I was like see what I mean? Now you can't actually do anything with the stupid disco ball lol.

Giant puffed up disco ball dress? LOLOLOLOL I agree. Prom is only once so I don't want spend thousands or hundreds of dollars on a dress that I'll only wear once. I like the dress because it's timeless. Even if I'm in my 20's or 30's I can still wear it.
Yes prom dresses aren't cheap at all. People are spending crazy money on dresses. I want to wear something that's simple but beautiful.
