I'm 31 and have had the same problem a few months ago. I started using Bosica Willow Bark breakout treatment and a little coconut oil to moisturize. Hope that helped

I got mine at Sephora. It was only 15 bucks I think. A little goes a long way so it'll last a while. You could get coconut oil at a heathfood store or Walmart

Really? If you don't mind me asking, what did they tell you/what treatment did they give you?

well, at the time they told me to use Cetaphil. i didn't notice any difference. i also have a hard time finding a good moisturizer. a lot either leave my face feeling dry or very oily (i have combination skin). I'm originally from the east coast n now live in the Midwest. maybe that has a lot to do with it (climate change).

All they did was tell you to use cetaphil? I'm not surprised it didn't do anything. Clearly your acne is hormonal and there may be an underlying cause of it. I would have thought given your age they would have tried to solve what the root of the problem is! Regarding moisturiser I can recommend Simple. It's very light and great for people with skin problems because its very gentle. The red rice range at L'Occitane is great for oil control. I have also heard that a lot of people have had good results with the acne.org regimen. I hope you can find something that works for you because I understand how depressing it can be!

I've seen commercials for the Simple products n wondered about it. Yes, something's gotta work eventually! :)

I reduced my dairy intake and that really helped clear up the hormonal breakouts around my chin. If you do a google search for "acne dairy connection", you will pull up some good articles about the correlations of dairy consumption and acne. Of course correlation does not equal causation, but I an attest that the only time I have break outs around my chin and mouth if I've had milk and cheese.
