Rash on my son?

He hasn't been checked for anything that involves a blood test, our dr just suggests changing his soap and laundry detergent, but we've used the same stuff for 7 years, and he gets a rash every 4-6 months so I don't think it's soap or detergent. :s it's really itchy on his belly but that's the only spot he's itching and he has no fever. I'll have to google streptococcus, is that bacterial or viral?

Okay I just had to google a word since I didn't know the English word! But the first pic looks like something my littlebrother had I few years ago, streptococcus, have he been checked for that?

Every so often my son breaks out in this horrific rash, and I noticed it this afternoon, I'm including a bunch of pics, does anyone know what type if rash this is? We've been to our doctor a few times and he has no answered as to what's causing it. We haven't changed soaps or anything and he's eating the same things as always. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. He's 4, if that matters.
