I have many, in my opinion a women that have tattoos are confident!!!

I'm currently planning/wanting a upper arm tattoo. I want like, a quarter sleeve (from shoulder to half my upper aarm, not all the way to my elbow!) I'm just trying to decide on a theme to tie it all together. I can't wait!

I love mine! and if done correctly they can look nice. its the naked ladies or demons that make them look bad.

My employer (an MD--derm) gawks at my tattoos. I have two on my inner wrists and she is totally not for it but didn't discriminate against it. Dr.'s offices are tricky to get around when you have tats! But--I have several now...and it just keeps growin!

Pretty much every career opportunity is open to people with tattoos as long as you have the degrees that qualify you for the career. an employer does not care if you have tattoos If you have a MD.

As long as it's your look, girl, go for it! =D Any reason a woman shouldn't have tattoos on her arms (few though they may be), I don't see why it wouldn't be the same for men.

I have tattoos everywhere! I'm starting a sleeve. I think its acceptable i think its quite hard to find someone who doesn't have any tattoos. Just get make sure you love them, they're on you forever!

Definitely, career is important. Luckily, if I had one, my scrubs would cover it up without a problem! Though I personally think it would be empowering to see a woman tattooed and in an executive position somewhere, society does not view it to be so as it is still such a taboo. Definitely consider career and job field of choice, when making these decisions!

I love tattoos but I've never been a fan of upper arm tattoos, especially on women. I personally think it's just an unattractive spot to have a tattoo...just my personal opinion though :)

I think it depends on you career. I personally think that everyone can do as they please. Just know that they do not come off without pain and make them represent something. I have four tats and wish I could remove 3 @ least :(

It depends on what it is. And what you're career goals are in the future if you're young. In some fields its totally acceptable(creative) but in some its totally frowned upon(think corporate setting). I don't have a problem with it personally. I'm actually thinking of getting one on my bicep.

I don't see anything wrong with women getting tattoos. Would I personally get a sleeve or an upper arm tattoo? Probably not. I have one tattoo on my right shoulder blade of hello kitty, a spot that I can easily hide for a professional job or if my skin gets saggy. I personally wouldn't want a piece on my arm where it is visible and a harder spot to hide or cover up. Also, I don't know how my skin is going to look as I age this is the BIGGEST reason as to why I am done with getting tattoos. This is just my opinion about myself and tattoos, if a female wants to get a sleeve then she should! Most that I have seen look stunning! It's just not something I would do.

I am all for tattoos on girls! I have several myself and am getting more soon. I think upper arm tattoos on girls are powerful and bold. So long as it is something tastefully done, I don't see anything wrong with it. Tattoo love.

I think women could have tattoos anywhere! If done correctly, it could look great, no matter where it is. I'm actually getting my entire forearm tattooed in 20 days. I don't think there's anything wrong. =]
