Want the latest gossip on it?
Some people's boxes weigh over 1 pound (factor in weight of the box and it's probably just slightly under a pound or at a pound) and other people's boxes weigh less than 1/2 pound. Guess how many people are going to be pissed this month?

Got my box this evening when I came home from work! Its...okay. The samples I got were a pretty good size, its just that they don't really interest me a whole lot (a cleanser I probably won't use, a primer that seems too dark for me, more hair oil, and another lip product that is very similar to one in my last BB...plus a laundry detergent packet). Based on the outside label I got BB#2....and it definitely did not weight over a pound at allll. I have a feeling I'm going to be jealous of other people's boxes! haha

Mine weighs .63 lbs, so just over half. Wonder what I'm getting. If this month is as lackluster as last month I'm going to be super disappointed :(

Mine only weighs .5 pounds. I just cancelled my membership. I actually found another website called GoGo Girlfriend. It is very similar, but seems to offer more of what I like. I guess we will see though!

Amanda, I Just signed up for GoGo Girlfriend, I am very excited about Beauty Army too! I will def put up a post when I get my first box! I'll prob write an into post in the next couple days! Just for signing up I got a free eyeshadow! :) I think the samples are just of less expensive products which I like because I would be more interested in actually purchasing them! :)

Hmm you know what Nykki that sounds like something more for me too! I haven't bought anything from Birchbox just because they only offer expensive brands...of course I like them but I am going to spend $28 on a 4 oz cleanser? No. $50 on a mineral sun powder? Definitely not. I WISH I could but that's just not in my budget.

The cost of products on Birchbox is the same as on other sites like Ulta, Sephora and Beauty.com but the nice thing about Birchbox is when you review you earn 10 pts. 100 pts = $10 off a product and you can stack your points (200 pt = $20 off, 300 pts = $30 off) for even more discounts. I have almost 400 pts and once I do hit 400 I'm using it to buy something I had my eye on at Sephora but didn't want to pay $40 for it. Wish they carried Urban Decay. LOL I'd be all over that.

Confused as I have been charged for the October box but haven't gotten notice that it has shipped and it still says "processing" on their website.

Oh boy, I'm not super excited about anything listed for the boxes :( I feel like they're recycling the same products over and over now, nothing like it was when I first signed up. I saw a review on a GoGogirlfriend box and you seem to get a lot for the subscription, but as someone mentioned it's more drugstore brands than high-end. I guess I just feel disappointed at the thought of ending my subscription. Birchbox was so great in the beginning in my opinion, but now? :( Can't wait for Beauty Army to start up! I'll definitely be subscribing there. If I don't like my birchbox for this month I think I may cancel as well.

@Nickie I usually don't get notice of it until it's almost hit USPS near me. Also, I used to get my boxes by the 6th every month then 2 months ago they started coming between the 10th and 14th. I think they say all boxes ship by the 10th?

It will always say processing. Once your box ships you should see it under the BOX page not the main account page.
