I always carry a makeup bag with me but like @Rillie, I only keep like lip balm, gloss, mascara, bobby pins and some fixed powder in my bag that way if I'm in a hurry or want to wear minimal makeup for that day and didn't but it on at home I can fix myself up really quickly in the car. :~)

LOL...yes I carry my makeup bag with me. I carry duplicates of my "face in a flash" products . Laura Mercier's Flawless Face stuff along with Nars Mini Multiple in Maui, Rivera Lipgloas, a small Makeup Forever Micro Finish Powder and a Dior Show Mascara mini.
I am experimenting with cutting down on the amount of stuff that I carry around with me so have the "Mothership" that contains oh... EVERYTHING and then I carry a small satellite bag that has my wallet, phone and whatever lipstick I am wearing when I am going out. The Tote bag I leave in the car.

I carry a makeup bag always. For me, it's essential. I bought this cheap one that's a pretty good standard size for a dollar and some change at Target in the Travel Toiletries section. So cute.
Anywho, I carry things like lip balm, a mini toothbrush & toothpaste (I have a thing where if I eat, I have to brush my teeth, no matter where I am), and hand sanitizer. As far as makeup, I won't carry my whole look with me to touch up, I'll carry the basics: Mascara, Lip gloss or lipstick I'm using for the day, a black eyeliner, and maybe a blush and my eyebrow stuff to fix up while I'm out. I love big hobo style bags so I don't mind carrying a whole bunch of stuff with me. It's like I take a mini-size "my bedroom" with me everywhere. lol.

I don't carry one because I always feel weird applying makeup in public, even if I do go in the bathroom. I will take a hand sanitizer and mini hairbrush though. :) And sometimes I have a lip balm.

I have a makeup bag with me at all times. There is an "emergency bag" in my car and I have a "just in case your house burns what would you grab bag" too...yes I am that serious lol now that I think about it I may be a little over obessed but my just in case bag has everything from hair products to lipglosses. I always have 3 or 4 lipglosses on me at a time lol

Not when I'm not wearing makeup.
But when I am, I go crazy! I usually end up carrying practically every powder on my face just because I get afraid of any mess ups I could have through the day. It's so silly though, because 95% of the time, I only touch up with powder. But you never know when you just might need your bronzer/countour/blush/eyeliner/etc, etc etc through out the day!
Oh & my lipstick & gloss choice of that day.

i carry a pencil case for my makeup. haha :] usually i will take:
ELF oil blotting sheets (even though my skin is dry, my forehead gets oily because of my bangs and i hate looking/feeling oily)
CO Bigelow lipbalm in blueberry lemonade. :]
A little clinique moisturizing gel thing
My Blush of the day
My lipstick/gloss/stain/thingy of the day
Lashblast length mascara
NYX concealer in a jar.
that's what i take to school, my makeup tends to wear off because of gym class. but normally i don't bring anything to the mall or anything. :]

It depends on what kind of bag I'm carrying and what I'm wearing on my face. If I carry a small bag, I just take my compact, lipgloss, and maybe a concealer stick. But if I have a huge bag, I bring all my essentials haha.

i have a makeupish bag. i don't use much of the make up in it really, but i'm one of those "omg just incase" kind of girls.
-elf mineral eyeshadow primer
-wnw walking on eggshells palette (80% of the time i'm wearing neutrals anyway)
-beauty&love tweezers (bought at big lots)
-maybelline one by one volum' express
-rimmel stay matte
-elf brush/bronzer
-elf blush & blending brush (it's a longer bag, lol)
-waaay old neutrogena eyeshadow brush
-mark kabuki brush (in a tube)
i know bronzer isn't totally needed in an emergency, but i love the super big mirror that it comes with!

i cant go out without it, even if am not wearing make up, i have it in case of a rescue me touch ups or so .
i feel naked without it :D I usually carry with me the stuff i have already on my face. the blush am wearin, the lipstick and liner, lash glue (if i hv them on) and tweezers. of course a mirror (with light in it, u hav to be able to glam up anytime ;) ) and a small blush brush. oh and a nail file, i can not walk around with a broken/chipped nail :D

I don't, never have...never will! If my makeup fades - it's just going to fade right back off if I re-apply it. Plus, it's another thing that could be stolen, lost, or messed up. No makeup bag for me :)

To go to social events I carried my entire makeup collection to the place I was getting ready. lol...it wasn't huge but maybe over 40 products total not including my brushes until my favorite elf eye liner brush broke. =( Now I carry my mascara, lipstick, lipgloss, and eye liner for the day in a wristlet or small makeup bag.

Definitely not! I hate carrying purses as it is...even though it's really hard not to have a small purse with essentials (id, money, phone, chapstick) I just feel like they are such a hassel and get in the way...especially at parties or clubs, I like to have my arms FREE and be able to dance =) so all those essentials go into the nice pocket called my bra hahah!
