Honestly, wear whatever makeup makes you feel the best about yourself. You see a lot of crappy stuff working as a nurse (my brother and dad are both doctors, and the nurses have to be around the patients/cleaning up/doing all the dirty work wayyyy more than the doctors), so whatever makes you feel a little bit better is fantastic. At a certain point it becomes less about what people think about you and more about how you feel about yourself, and when you're seeing people who are sick and feeling down all the time because of the stuff you have to experience on the job, it's more important to take care of yourself than care what people think of you. If the makeup makes you feel good about yourself - and if it relieves some of your stress - wear away! How much makeup you're wearing has no bearing on how well you do your job, anyways.

I can't see a picture either but I agree that you should wear what you feel comfortable in. As long as whatever you're wearing is applied and executed cleanly I don't think how much you wear should matter. Just because you're working doesn't mean you shouldn't get to have any fun or look nice during the day :) people are so afraid to wear what they want during the daytime. Unless it's date night there's this attitude that wearing anything more than chapstick and BB cream is a bad thing. Wear what you want and don't let others' discomfort and insecurity influence your decision. There's nothing wrong with minimal makeup but some people seem to think there's a problem with heavier makeup - there's this double standard about it that I'm noticing a lot and I'm becoming increasingly irritated by it. As long as its applied well I don't think how much you wear should matter.
