Sorry Hilda but no I don't think it looks good. Youre a pretty girl and it does your overall look no justice. If you want a dark color go with a burgundy any deep red color. Your skin tone is fair and the black makes you pail and blah.

Hi Hilda, I actually like blk n some instances. depending on the person. lik Traci said, n a few agreed, you have to balance the look.. you don't have to look like a cookie cut of what "we" think goes with blk lip stick.. interpret that for yourself. you just need to look complete n pulled together..

I was thinking of doing a naturalish look I don't want full black eyeliner with black lips.

I do personally agree with changing to a dark Color (red or berry) vs straight blk just because your brows are lighter and I feel like the blk lip is conflicting with the rest of your face if that makes sense. even as a liner or ombre it seems a bit heavy.

You can definitely do a dark color with ease. exactly like that..
you need the color. straigh blk is too harsh to look your best, b that's just in my opinion. you have to do what makes you feel good.

People have been wearing black lipstick since the 60's, nothing to be ashamed about. check out this Avon commercial from 1962 http://youtu.be/74aDOHL9S6g at 1:34 The model is holding a black lipstick Avon use to make.

A hot color right now is black plum. Might be a little more subtle. But I must say you can work this look. But I think it is a night time look.

That does look nice in the photo but to me if I'm looking at a person on the street with no eye makeup and black lips and a outfit that is not even edgy they just look confused the look needs to go with something of course it looks good on a model in a airbrushed pic you don't need to have goth makeup but the look should be pulled together.everyone has there own opinion on how you can wear it but its up to you it does look nice on you so just put as much makeup as your comfortable with
