I like that your trying and just keep going,if you want a honest opinion from an artist perspective since I lovethese types of looks and enjoy creating them I have to suggest working on the dimension and the application so it doesn't look flat and give off a vibe of a amateur face paint look.keep practicing and be aware of the shadowing of these types of looks and bring it out.The shading is very important as well as the placement but this is just my opinion and hope this made sense and just keep going. :-)

Thanks Kelly. Alma thanks for your honesty appreciate it that's what I'm looking for us yes I know these pics were experimenting w/different paints & makeup my 1st time doing these. What makeup do you recommend for halloween looks? I know Mac & makeup forever carry them. Next move for me is taking makeup classes I'm excited to learn more & be creative..

Hi lovely I'm glad your looking into taking classes that's a wonderful step.I personally use limited to no face painting products depending on what look I'm aiming for usually I use just makeup and if I use white face paint it's mehron products which you can get from camera ready cosmetics.I use every makeup brand I can to just achieve the look I'm going for and don't think there is a limit to what product could be used. :-)

Lovely, Kevyan Aucoin Books are a must I bought mine many years ago when they first came out. I was a young teen in love with his work in the 90s he was a amazing makeup artist like no other I can't explain how much he had inspired me with his work when I was young and willing to learn but I think you'll also enjoy his books but more importantly how his skill and character was just brilliant. They now sell his book here on Beautylish :-)
